Since its foundation in 1830 (Tempo gannen), our history as a manufacturer specializing in Buddhist altars and accessories has always been accompanied by the work of outstanding Kyoto artisans. Woodworking, carving, urushi lacquer painting, roiro polishing, gold leafing, makie urushi decoration, coloring, metal ornament decoration, metallic casting, and metal coloring. The integration of these craft techniques makes the main hall and inner main hall solemn and magnificent. We offer uncompromising craftsmanship and consistency in every step, from consultation to delivery.

We have a variety of products for temples, from wooden Buddhist fittings and tables, to metal accessories and lanterns, and even small tools for cleaning. We offer more options to meet customers' needs not only for new products but also for repair or restoration.

All the interior work in the main hall is carried out by artisans with outstanding techniques, including lacquer and gold leaf work on pillars and beams, painting on the ceiling and fusuma paper sliding doors, and installing architectural hardware.
